We invite you to the 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon, which will take place on April 22nd. This year, the run event organizer, Run Ukraine, plans to bring together over 10,000 running fans from 50 countries.
Before the Kyiv Half Marathon, on April 17, at 3:00 p.m., a press conference will be held at UkrInform with the representatives of the organizer, the Run Ukraine company, representatives of the title sponsor, the Nova Poshta company, the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, Ukrainian Athletic Federation (UAF) and Kyiv city state administration.
On April 20 at 11:00 a.m. a press conference with elite athletes will be held at Radisson Blu Hotel (17-19 Bratska Street).

Applications will be accepted until 20.04.2018 inclusive. The entrance to the press zone of the event opens on April 22nd at 8:00 a.m. in the Radisson Blu Hotel, which is located near the start and finish zone, where accreditation badges for the media will be given out.
The 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon main route route will traditionally lay in one circle along the picturesque streets of the city. Compared to last year, it has undergone minor changes. You can get look through the whole route on the official site in the section “Routes”.
Both beginners and experienced runners can join the international running community and test their strength. On April 22, within the framework of the 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon, traditional races at individual courses will take place: 21, 0975 km; 5 km; 2 km and relay races 1×10 + 1×11 and 3×5 + 1×6. It is not necessary to be a professional athlete to overcome the main marathon course. Marichka Padalko, “1+1” TV presenter, already registered and plans to run the 21,0975 km. Star participants are expected at other courses. To the start of the 5 km course the following celebrities will come: Anastasia Kamenskyh, Potap, Vitaliy Kozlovsky, Santa Demopolus, travesty diva Monroe, Ruslan Rotan and many others. The full list of famous Ukrainians for the 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon will be announced on April 19, 2018.
Within the framework of the 8th Kyiv half marathon, a charity race will take place at a course of 2 km, where participants will collect funds for the equipment of the rehabilitation department of the State Institution (SI) Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. After all, this clinic annually helps thousands of patients (including athletes) who have a joint disease called osteoarthritis. Proper and up-to-date rehabilitation requires proper modern equipment, which is currently insufficient in the SI Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
Traditionally, the 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon is joined not only by adult runners but also by children. Specially prepared for the children’s races are the courses: 100 m, 500 m and 1000 m. Each small finisher will receive a commemorative medal and gifts.
The highlight of the 8th Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon will be the medals. For the first time the main course finishers medals will be depict symbol of the Kyiv city; and this year relay medals are made in the form of steps that symbolize the fact that to achieve its goal the team needs to overcome the path up.
